Great American Whitetail Collection
The NRA began its whitetail Collection in the early 1990’s. Now years later it has achieved a world-renowned exhibit including 48 of the greatest whitetails ever taken, with 12 mounts displayed at a show. With some of the heads dating back to 1910, the collection is a stunning display of replicated antlers depicting some of the most famous and highest-scoring whitetails.
Dick Idol, noted whitetail expert is an authority on the collection: “The NRA Great American Whitetail Collection represents a collage of the greatest whitetails in the world and epitomizes the dreams of every whitetail hunter in North America.”
Some of the more famous bucks include the Milo Hanson World Record Typical Whitetail scoring over 213”, James Jordan buck, which is the number 2 Typical Whitetail buck in the world, and the John Breen giant Typical from Minnesota, scoring 202, which many feel is the most impressive typical of all time.
The list goes on and on with spectacular heads that are the real heroes to serious whitetails hunters and are of great interest to general sporting enthusiasts.
